HitTest Custom Control

The problem is that my control has a a style applyed to it
And i found out that the ancestor of the controls in the style is not my control .
If i go up the parent at some pont i'll get null and I will not find my control.
Only the controls that are inside the content or the header of the control have the ancestor my control.
